Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 July 2026

Rajaji TNPSC Academy (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates rajajitnpsc.com and the associated student and trainer portals (together, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Services, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, including:

  • Account & profile details — full name, email address, phone number, date of birth, address, and academic qualifications provided during enrollment.
  • Guardian details— for students who provide a parent or guardian contact, we store that person's name and contact information.
  • Payment information — when you enroll in a paid course, your payment is processed by our payment partner, Cashfree. We store the order amount, order status and a payment reference; we do not collect or store your card, UPI or bank details ourselves.
  • Learning activity — course and video progress, test attempts and scores, bookmarked questions, doubts raised with mentors, and study material downloads.
  • Login & device information — login timestamps, IP address, and browser or device information, used to secure your account and detect suspicious activity.
  • Communications — messages you send us through the doubt-clearing feature, support requests, or the newsletter sign-up form.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and manage your student or trainer account.
  • To deliver course content, live classes, mock tests and study materials you have enrolled in.
  • To process payments and send order, enrollment and receipt confirmations.
  • To send OTPs for login and password resets, and important account or batch notifications by SMS and email.
  • To respond to doubts, support requests and provide mentor feedback.
  • To improve our courses, teaching methods and the Services generally.
  • To detect, prevent and investigate fraud, abuse or security incidents.

3. Cookies & Session Data

We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your language and theme preference. We do not use these cookies for third-party advertising or cross-site tracking.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We share information with trusted providers only to the extent necessary for them to perform services on our behalf, under confidentiality obligations:

  • Cashfree — payment processing for course enrollments.
  • Message Central — SMS delivery for OTPs and account notifications.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery (receipts, credentials, notifications).
  • Amazon Web Services (S3) — secure storage of study materials and uploaded files.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. Data Sharing Within the Academy

Trainers and mentors assigned to your course can see the profile and learning activity data needed to teach and support you — for example, your test scores, doubts, and video progress. Academy administrators can access account and payment records to provide support and manage enrollments.

6. Data Security

Passwords are stored using industry-standard one-way hashing and are never visible to our staff. Access to student and payment records is restricted to authorized personnel. While we take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. Data Retention

We retain account and learning-activity data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal, accounting and dispute-resolution requirements. You may request earlier deletion as described below.

8. Your Rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and other applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or withdraw consent for optional communications (such as the newsletter). To make a request, contact us using the details below; we will respond within a reasonable time.

9. Guardian & Minor Information

Our courses are intended for aspirants preparing for TNPSC examinations. Where a guardian's details are collected during enrollment, they are used solely for emergency contact and communication about the student's enrollment.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated “Last updated” date above, and, where appropriate, communicated to you directly.

11. Contact Us
